The Knicks announced on Thursday that training camp for the 2013-14 season will take place the first week of October in good ole' Tarrytown. With that announcement also comes a message from a certain player perhaps alluding to the fact that he's ready to kick things off.
Though last year he wore number 3, Kenyon Martin has since taken that over from the previously injured Smith. But after wearing number 32 in NBA Summer League, Smith tweets that he'll be wearing number 0 instead.
While Smith doesn't necessarily say he'll be wearing that number for the Knicks, he did acknowledge in a later tweet that he'll be switching from the previously worn 32 and that he (hopes) to be playing on the same court as brother J.R. "really soon."
The younger Smith spent time this past month with his brother at the Knicks' youth summer basketball camp as well, for what it's worth.
