I have heard forward Ike Diogu will be added to the Knicks training camp roster.

According to Newsday's Al Iannazzone, Ike Diogu will be invited to training camp with the Knicks.
Collectively, the expected additions of both Diogu and Josh Powell answer my earlier question as to why DeSagana Diop has not been invited as of yet.
Like Powell, Diogu has had trouble sticking around in the NBA since being selected by the Golden State Warriors as the ninth overall selection in 2005. He's now 30 years old.
As with the likes of Shawne Williams, Jeremy Lin, and Chris Copeland over the past few seasons, the Knicks enjoy taking chances on some otherwise undiscovered talent and/or those of whom could deserve a second-chance at success. Diogu fits into that mold, and at the very least, is worth taking a chance on in training camp, as is Powell. No harm, no foul.
