Though former Knicks guard Trent Tucker became well known during his playing days for having an official NBA rule named after him, his post-retirement efforts now focus on helping less than fortunate children.
Tucker hosted his annual golf tournament earlier this week, following a Celebrity Gala the night before. The pair of charitable events fittingly benefited Tucker’s “All 4 Kids Foundation,” as well as the Max Cure Foundation too.
The former Knickerbocker was a trusted and well-liked teammate throughout his entire career, and he’s certainly succeeded in carrying such relationships with him as the years pass. An array of notable NBA figures came out this week to show their support for Tucker and the worthy causes.
Among those in attendance included an abundance of Knicks legends, such as Patrick Ewing, John Starks, Charles Oakley, Johnny Newman, and Greg Anthony. Members of the team’s current coaching staff appeared as well, including head coach Mike Woodson, and assistants Darrell Walker and fan-favorite Herb Williams. Take a look below for some photos.
