Knicks-Nets Most Expensive Game Remaining For Team

The New York Knicks haven’t won much this season, but they are winning the race for the worst record in the NBA which would give them the highest percentage out of the lottery teams to earn the No. 1 overall pick in next years draft.

The Knicks, losers of seven straight and 1-9 in their last 10 games, are 14-60 and have two wins fewer than the Minnesota Timberwolves, who are in second in the race for last place.

The Knicks only have eight games left, and it’s difficult to see where the wins will come from in the final stretch. It’s an opportune time to visit Madison Square Garden, as prices for Knicks tickets are below their usual value. Below are the most expensive tickets and least expensive tickets for the Knicks in the month of April.

Most Expensive: 4/1/2015 | New York Knicks vs. Brooklyn Nets | Avg: $246.59 | Get-in: $74 | Madison Square Garden Parking $11

The Knicks will play the role of spoiler when they take on their inner-city rival Brooklyn Nets. The Nets are 32-40 and currently hold the eighth and final playoff spot, one half game in front of the Boston Celtics. The Nets have been playing well as of late, going 7-3 in their last 10 games. Even though the Knicks haven’t been competitive for a large part of the season, their games against the Nets always have some extra juice attached to it.

4/5/2015 | New York Knicks vs. Philadelphia 76ers | Avg: $198 | Get-in: $38

The Philadelphia 76ers are four games ahead of the Knicks in the Atlantic standings. Even though they were one of the teams that put tanking into the spotlight, the 76ers have been playing great defense recently and are 4-6 in their last 10 games. Nerlens Noel is making a late push for the Rookie of the Year award, averaging 16 points, 10 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 2.2 blocks and 1.8 steals per game in his last 10 games.

Least Expensive: 4/3/2015 | Washington Wizards vs. New York Knicks | Avg: $83.24 | Get-in: $16

The Washington Wizards will be playing in the postseason but are not entering the next round with confidence. They’re 5-5 in their last 10 games but have had some frustrating losses recently, mostly to teams that will be in the postseason. The Wizards have lost to the Clippers, Warriors, Pacers and Rockets in their last six games. They usually don’t have a problem with the bottom teams in the league, but have not had the success they want against the top teams in the NBA.

The Knicks are in prime position to have the best odds to nab the No. 1 overall pick. It seems that the target is Duke center Jahlil Okafor, who has his Blue Devils team in the Final Four of the NCAA Tournament.
