Knicks Top Road Game Remaining in December Against James, Cavaliers

The ball hasn’t been bouncing in the favor of the New York Knicks recently and looked like the trend was going to continue, but Damian Lillard’s three-point shot at the buzzer bounced off the rim and the Knicks snapped their four-game skid.

New York has gone 3-7 in their last 10 games and are three games under .500. After winning two home games against the Philadelphia 76ers and Brooklyn Nets, the Knicks played four out of their next five games on the road and only won the most recent game against the Trail Blazers. A 15-point road loss to the Milwaukee Bucks was followed by a home loss to the Dallas Mavericks, and the Knicks proceeded to lose their next two games to the Utah Jazz (106-85) and the Sacramento Kings (99-97).

Questions are starting to surface about Kristaps Porzingis hitting a rookie wall, as his recent play has been less than inspiring. In his last three games, Porzingis is shooting a combined 6-for-25, less than 25%. The Knicks path back to .500 is not an easy one, as their remaining games in December involve some of the Eastern Conference’s better teams.
